What in your life is being called to bloom fully & Forward?
Welcome to the beautiful Beltane portal! In the energy of the Scorpio Full Moon, we enter Lunar Beltane today, May 1st. Traditionally celebrated as the first day of summer or high spring, Beltane is a transitional time within the turning of the Wheel of the Year. An energetic portal opens up until May 5th with Solar Beltane, ushering in fertility, growth and sacred union between the Divine Feminine and Masculine.
It is said during this time the veil is thinnest, much like during Beltane's opposite cross-quarter festival of Samhain. Both invite in connection to the unseen - the realm of the fae (fairies), our ancestors and elemental helpers. It is at this time of year that the flowers begin their blooming dance, spreading out across the lands. The buds of the trees slowing unfurl to reveal sweet aroma from the apple and cherry trees. The air is alive with possibility and potential AND the energy to anchor all this abundance within and without.
The Beltane fire burns bright for transformation and purification. Each of us has an inner flame we must tend to so it can grow bigger and stronger to reach it's full potency when we arrive at Litha/Summer Solstice. To do this, we must first let go of what is holding us back. Allow the depths of the Scorpio Full Moon in this Lunar Beltane portal to release you from the emotional weight you have been carrying and allow for space to bloom more fully into what is becoming.
Here is a simple Beltane ritual for you. Light a candle or fire, gently gaze at the flame while breathing into your heart space and asking the following for clarity:
Where in your life do you need to let go?
What would serve you to burn in the sacred energetic fires of Beltane?
What would you create in the space that remains?
What in your life is being called to bloom fully and forward?
Let the answers come to you freely and quickly. Don't overanalyse. For your heart is the seat of your intuition and always speaks the truth, even if those truths can be hard to hear.
May this Beltane burn bright for you!
